This triggers a series of signaling events that lead to B cell activation and proliferation.   Antibody Production: Activated B cells differentiate into plasma cells. which churn out large quantities of antibodies specific to the antigen that triggered their activation. It effectively neutralizing their harmful effects.   Opsonization: Antibodies can tag pathogens for destruction by phagocytic cells like macrophages. It enhancing the immune response against the invaders.   Complement Activation: Antibodies can trigger the complement system.
